Welcome to the MTVA Elementary School Honors Choir Audition!

We're excited to have your students audition for this prestigious event! Follow the instructions below to submit your auditions by the deadline.

Each audition file should include only:

1. The starting pitch for the first verse of "America (My Country Tis of Thee)" - G4 / G above Middle C
2. Student singing the entire first verse without any teacher help

Important: Do NOT provide cues, count-ins, breathing cues, or any audible teacher assistance. Submissions not appropriately following these guidelines will be automatically disqualified.

Please only submit this as ONE recording file!

Payment Information

Mail invoice and payment to MTVA (P.O. Box 332454, Murfreesboro, TN 37133)

Audition fee: $7/per student

First-time MTVA participants: Add $50 school activity fee

Include your printed registration invoice with your check or pay by credit card.

All auditions must be paid for before accessing the Snap Audition Platform.

Uploading Auditions to SNAP

You may upload exactly as many auditions as you registered for to the Snap Audition platform.

Directors are responsible for uploading their student auditions using the bulk-upload feature. The tutorial can be found here.

What Happens Next?

Auditions will be adjudicated October 24-November 11, and results will be released November 13. Judges will be notified of appropriate judging procedures using Snap by October 19th.

Selected students should arrive prepared to perform with the music for the event.
