Dear Student,
We are holding our auditions for GIYO's Philharmonia Orchestra via video upload this year.
Please refer to the audition excerpts for your instrument and prepare them to the best of your ability.
VIOLINS ONLY: Last year's violin 2 students, please prepare x2 second violin parts, and x2 first violin part (from different repertoire, if possible.) Last year's first violin students, please prepare only first violin excerpts. Rising or new violin students, please prepare what you think reflects your level accurately.
ALL STUDENTS: Please prepare ALL excerpts and video yourself playing them. All entrants are also asked to provide a minimum of x2 2-octave scales (3-octave for strings.)
You may video yourselves as often as you want to capture your best performance.
Deadline to upload is August 19th, 2024.
