Welcome to the UT Tyler Music Dept and SNAPA production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame!

This show is for adults 18 years old and older. Special permission may be given to 16, and 17 year old students, to be evaluated on a case by case basis.

This show is based on the Disney animated movie, however in adapting it for stage, the adult themes are more prominent and parental guidance is suggested.

We will be holding auditions on Saturday, August 23 from 10am until 5pm. Please sign up for a time slot. If you cannot be there in person, or the time slots fill up, you can submit a video audition. If you have to select a time slot to submit the video audition, please select 10pm.

The musical score (sheet music) and dialogue SIDES can be found in the google drive as well, for use in preparing for auditions.

All rehearsals will be Tuesdays and Thursdays at the UT Tyler (Braithwaite Recital Hall) Fine and Performing Arts Center: 3900 University Blvd, Tyler.

Two rehearsal times:

Class: UT Tyler students and faculty cast in the show will need to register for the Opera Music Theater class, Tue/Thur 2-3:50 pm, starting August 26th.

Evening: Those who are not students must attend the 5-7pm evening rehearsals on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There may be one or two additional Saturday rehearsals added to the schedule as needed.

**Rehearsals WILL continue over the winter break. There will not be any rehearsals the week of Christmas or on New Years Day.

Tech week is January 5-9, every night, from 6pm until we finish running the show.

Dress Rehearsals and opening week is January 12-16, every night, the same as tech week.

Performances are Friday and Saturday January 16 and 17 at 7 pm, call time is at 6pm; and Saturday and Sunday January 17 and 18 at 3pm, call time at 2pm.

*There are two performances on Saturday.

Cast must be at at least 90% of rehearsals. Conflicts with rehearsal schedule / performances need to be listed on the audition form or relayed to directors as soon as they arise.
