To audition for a GTCYS School-Year Orchestra, please complete these steps by December 1:

1) Create a Snap Audition account: scroll to the bottom of this page, select “Create a Free Account,” and follow the steps.

2) Log In to Snap Audition using your email and password from Step 1.

3) Register Now using the link at the bottom of this page. Note: you can save your information, log out, and return to the site any time to complete your registration. Families with multiple students can register all their students from the same account.

4) Upload Your Playing Sample(s): Record your video using your phone, tablet, or computer. Videos have a size limit of 3gb. To keep the video file size from getting too big, make sure 4k recording is off. See the attached instrument audition excerpts below.

5) Pay the Fee: Pay your non-refundable $45 audition fee. Families who anticipate applying for tuition assistance may pay a discounted $10 fee using the coupon code TUITIONASSISTANCE2026.

6) Submit your audition! GTCYS will send audition results via email in August. Results will not be posted on Snap Audition - please do not inquire about audition results prior to our August announcement.
