DYAO has open positions for the following instruments in our ensembles:

• String Ensemble: Viola, Cello, Double Bass
• Allegro Strings: Viola, Cello, Double Bass
• Conservatory Orchestra: Violin (limited), Viola, Double Bass, Oboe, Bassoon, Horn
• Young Artists Orchestra: Clarinet, Horn, Trombone, Bass Trombone, Tuba, Percussion

**If your instrument is not listed for the ensemble you are hoping to audition for, you may still sign up to audition with the understanding that you may be considered for a position on the waiting list.**

1. Fill out all required questions in registration form.

2. Pay the nonrefundable audition fee of $35. If you need assistance with the audition fee, please email Rachael DeLange (rachael.delange@dyao.org).

3. Choose a time slot for your audition. Currently, we have auditions available between 10:30 and 3:00 on August 15; if these all fill up, we will add more slots. Percussionists: Due to instrument access, you will need to reach out to Rachael DeLange (rachael.delange@dyao.org) to schedule a time on August 15.

Please Note: The displayed number remaining (above) does not accurately reflect the true number of empty audition slots; it is based on the number of instruments in a particular category who have signed up for a slot. When choosing a time, look for a slot that says "0 entrants", which means it is still available.
